This site is going to clearly be about cross necklaces. Specifically those cross necklaces that are christian related. You may be asking yourself, what type of cross necklaces are there that aren’t Christian? That’s a great question. To be honest, I don’t really know, but I do know that there are a lot of people out there that wear Cross Necklaces that aren’t exactly Christian. Of course they’ll say that they’re Christian, but actions speak louder than words. The best example here is of famous Athletes and Rock Stars. Kid Rock wears a cross necklace, but would you call that guy a christian? I remember watching his music videos as a little kid and thinking to myself “So drinking beer and hanging out with scantily clad women is christian? No way that’s christian. Another prime example of this is Terrell Owens. You know him as the wide receiver that ran his mouth and ran his Dallas Cowboys football team into the ground with his selfish antics. Terrell wears a cross necklace, but would a christian run “America’s Team” into the ground? I definitely don’t think so.
If you’ve made it this far, there’s a good chance you’re thinking “What is this guy writing about?”. The truth is, I’m writing about nothing because it’s actually valuable to have a large amount of words on a page. When I see a stranger wearing a cross necklace, I immediately think “Hey, I bet they love Jesus”. I remember watching CNN when George Bush was speaking to the country. He was wearing a Christian necklace that just happened to have a cross on it. We know that his policies catered towards the Fox News watchers of America, but is GWB a true Christian? Sure he may be a great guy to go to a bar with and have a beer, but does he deserve to wear a cross necklace after sending so many people to their death in Iraq and Afghanistan? Okay, sorry for making this about politics, this article is supposed to be strictly about Cross Necklaces. The problem is that there’s only so much that one person can say about cross necklaces before sounding retarded.
I was browsing Pinterest the other day, my fav. website, and found someone that had a bunch of cross necklaces pinned to their wall. For whatever reason, I thought to myself “Is this actually a Christian? Or do they like to spend time looking at cross necklaces?”. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they’re a true Christian. But what if they’re not? What if they just wear the Cross Necklace to show everyone they’re a christian but they don’t truly believe in what the necklace means?
Fortunately, there’s real christians out there that wear a cross necklace like a badge of honor. Every morning they wake up, throw the Cross Necklace over their head, smile, and say to themselves “I’m the best Christian ever!”. Thinking about this makes me really want to be friends with everyone that wears one of these necklaces. You know they’ve got to be a good person because it’s a cross on their neck. You don’t see cross necklaces on guys that crash planes into buildings, do you?
